The most important changes are:
WHAT CHANGES WILL THERE BE IN RELATION TO THE POINTS?
INCREASE POINTS:
or from 3 to 6 those that will be subtracted for driving while holding a mobile with your hand
or from 3 to 4 not using the seat belt, helmet or child restraint system.
RECOVER 2 POINTS from the license for completing the safe driving courses certified by the DGT.
RECOVERING THE INITIAL BALANCE OF POINTS unifies in two years the period that will elapse without committing infractions.
HOW WILL CHANGE THE ALLOWED SPEED UNTIL NOW?
The SPEED IN THE CITIES will change:
or 30 km/h on roads with a single lane in each direction of traffic, o 50 km/h on roads with 2 or more lanes in each direction and or 20 km/h on roads that have a single roadway platform.
These limits will not be applied until six months after the publication of this project in the Official State Gazette, so that citizens are properly aware of them and so that public administrations have sufficient time to adapt the signage.
HOW DOES THE USE OF MY SCOOTER, BIKE OR PERSONAL MOBILITY VEHICLE AFFECT ME?
PERSONAL MOBILITY VEHICLES are defined as vehicles with one or more wheels equipped with a single seat and propelled exclusively by electric motors that can provide the vehicle with a maximum speed between 6 and 25 km/h.
– It is prohibited to circulate on sidewalks and pedestrian areas.
-They will need a circulation certificate and they will not be able to circulate on interurban roads, crossings, sidewalks, urban tunnels and highways and/or highways that pass within the town.
WHAT IF I AM A PERSON WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?
