About costs, rates, and fees

The cost depends on the specialty, complexity of the case, and stage of the proceedings. Fixed rates, hourly rates, or a percentage of the result can be agreed upon. We always provide a clear quote before starting.

If the questions concern the topic discussed in the consultation, are complementary, or are necessary to complete the first consultation, it is not necessary to pay the fee again.

  • If the questions concern the process you are actively undergoing, you will not have to pay any fee for a preliminary consultation.

  • If the questions concern other processes that you are not actively undergoing, you will have to pay the fee for a preliminary consultation.

Yes: free legal aid is available for those who meet income requirements or special situations. The court-appointed system covers defense at no cost for those who need it, although the scope varies by case.

The answer is no. If you do not proceed with the case with M&C Abogados, those €60.50 including VAT become legal fees and lose their status as a retainer. Thus, if the process is carried out, they are deducted, and if not, they serve as payment for fees.

You must carefully read the deadlines and seek legal advice as soon as possible to avoid negative consequences. Ignoring a court document can mean losing rights due to the expiration of deadlines.
